Here are full-size reproductions; one showing a pit dwellings as found in Kitakyushu during the Yayoi period. There is also a shataku, or a company house, built by Yahata Steel Works in the 1950's. By entering this environment you will get a feel for what life must have been like for the people who lived there. |
