This is a full-size reproductions; one showing a pit dwellings as found in Kitakyushu during the Yayoi period. You will be able to experience what life was. Seasons is autumn. This restored house is a shataku, or company house, built by Yahata Steel Works in the 1950 in Nakabaru. It is a first house which built after World War II. The plan of the house is entrance, kitchen, and two tatami rooms. Four people ,father, mother and two children live in this house. The exhibition is reproducing one day of October 20, 1958.
